Dealing with geographic data
Introduction This section of the Everest Wiki deals with geographic data and computers. Some would call it GIS, others would prefer spatial analysis, computational geography or geomatics; we just say geography. There is information on how to collect or otherwise obtain geographic data, how to display it as a map, and how to transform, extract, and analyze such data.
