This section of the Everest Wiki deals with geographic data and computers. Some would call it GIS, others would prefer spatial analysis, computational geography or geomatics; we just say geography. There is information on how to collect or otherwise obtain geographic data, how to display it as a map, and how to transform, extract, and analyze such data.
