Disk space management

The file management in Organizational Unit repositories call for proper disk space management. For individual workstations, hard disk storage is free but is a limited resource. In the OU repository however, each Organizational Unit has a huge allocated storage for free, but if the OU users exceed that storage allocation, they will be charged for the extra cost.

The files stored in the repository expand by filling the space available. If all users will just store the files inappropriately, the repository might exceed the allotted capacity, thus, adding extra charge for the OU. At the same time, the repository might be filled with redundant or obsolete files. To hinder these possible consequences, disk space has to be managed.
