Reducing PowerPoint file size
PowerPoint presentation is a powerful tool when handing down information during meetings, trainings, workshops and seminars. Most of the users save all of their PowerPoint files in their local drive for future reference or other purposes. But these files eat up a lot of space in our hard disk, and this behavior calls for reducing the file size for better disk space management.
The compression procedure will reduce the PowerPoint file size from 70% up to 90% of the original file size.
Compressing PowerPoint files
1. Inside the PowerPoint environment go to Tools -> Options.
- On the Save Tab, disselect Allow fast saves. Then, click OK.
